“search is not just about technology. its about understanding people.”她放出一张照片，“this is a student in a rural area of china. he uses baidu to find learning materials. this is a small business owner in tokyo. she uses baidu japan to promote her local shop.”

照片一张张切换。

有中国农村的孩子，有日本街头的店主，有城市里的白领，有退休在家的老人。

“search connects people with information. it doesnt matter who you are, where you are, what language you speak. if you have a question, search can help you find the answer.”

演讲进行到第二十分钟，她讲到最后一部分。

“baidus essible to ee. we started on desktop, now were growing fast on mobile. we started with a small team in beijing, now we have hundreds of employees and millions of users.”

她停顿了一下。

“but the original vision, never changed. we believe technology should make information more equal, not less. we believe search should be neutral, fast, and reliable. and we believe the best way to predict the future is to create it.”

掌声响起。
